WWS Ireland are pleased to announce a WWS Progeny Showcase & Open Day over the course of two days, in conjunction with WWS UK, Redhouse Holsteins & Cannonstown Farm on the 9th & 10th January 2026.
Day one will see a progeny showcase & tour of the renowned Cannonstown Farm, operated by Michael & Richard McDonnell, milking with a new rotary parlour & facilities.
Following this will be a conference-style dinner with guest speakers Jeff Ziegler, VP Dairy Cattle Breeding at Select Sires & former Sire Analyst and Dan Siemers, Siemers Holsteins, Wisconsin.
Day two will see the doors to David Irwins esteemed Redhouse Holsteins opened to visitors, with a range of progeny groups for inspection. Topics for discussion will include accelerating your herd through genetic progress & the NxGen program.
CowManager & TechMix will be in attendance, with representatives there to answer all your questions.
A charity auction will also take place, with all proceeds going to the Air Ambulance service. The Irwin family are kindly donating a high-ranking calf to this auction, along with several batches of semen from WWS.
